It is well known that solar modules are usually covered with glass front windows. However, only part (83–92%) of the sunlight is transmitted through those glass windows due to the reflection of sunlight on the glass window, and therefore the efficiencies of solar panels are smaller than the efficiencies of solar cells inside.
